Our customers often ask us for planning tips so we thought we’d share a few key pieces of advice that can be applied to any celebration.
1. Decide on a theme
A theme is a great way to bring all your guests together, particularly if the group hasn’t met beforehand, and they are great for larger groups. We love something chic and classy like Breakfast at Tiffany’s or the Great Gatsby, and having all the hens wearing matching sashes is a perfect way to bring you all together. Our sashes and badges can also be personalised with names, which is a great way to help your guests break the ice.
2. Set a budget
For Hen parties, ask everyone to agree on a price per head upfront and always check they’re happy before you make any bookings. Don’t forget that we offer discounts for large orders for sashes and badges.
3. Keep all your guests up to date
We love social media so setting up a planning website, whatsapp, text or email group is a great way to keep your guests informed of what’s going on and for you all to share ideas. Don’t forget to share your pics with the Chic Celebrations team on our Instagram page – we love to see your party having fun wearing our sashes.
4. Plan your food and drink
Food and drink is one of the most important aspects of your celebration. Too little and your guests will go hungry, too much and you’ll be left dolling out goody bags at the end of the night. So be like Goldilocks and get it ‘just right’. Serving canapés can help to keep your guests hunger at bay and is also a great way to make your party look pretty – pink macaroons are always guaranteed to make us swoon!
If you’re going to a restaurant, be honest and open about your celebration as some establishments prefer not to host Hen parties, but more often than not, they will be happy to celebrate with you and we’re sure our classy sashes will help get you through the door.
